Curious to know how I ended up here? Get cozy, because it’s a bit of a story.
Just a few years ago, you would have found me in a corporate job, living paycheck to paycheck, barely making enough money to cover daycare and rent, commuting 1.5 hours each way to work, crying on the regular, exhausted from fake smiling and being “on” all day.
I struggled with hating my job yet not knowing what I actually wanted to do instead, with no clue where to turn for answers.
It didn’t take me long to see that I needed to figure this shit out and take things into my own hands
Eventually things started shifting, I started researching everything I could about professional development and leadership, I started advocating for myself at work and pushing myself to be more visible, through experimentation, smiling through discomfort and many, many pep talks - I started to connect the dots and figure out exactly what I wanted my career to look like.
I figured out exactly what was holding me back in my career and it changed everything. Today, I used what I learned to help other professionals figure out their next career move.
My story has a happy ending — and yours can, too. I’ve designed a career for myself on my terms and love Mondays again. And now I help countless of other professionals do the same.
